 I recently purchased a hooded pull-over alpaca sweater for blustery cold winter days.  I am a hand spinner and enjoy the soft cushy  feel of the knitted fabric as well as the multi-tonal pattern.  The care for my sweater is also a plus (machine wash warm/ tumble dry low)!

 I bought a beautiful poncho that is reversible from The Andes Store. It is a gorgeous ivory and white poncho that has a matching scarf attached. Each side was done with perfection and the way the buttons were positioned was like it was an exact art. I love the Andean design that runs down the middle and sides. It is so soft. The quality is wonderful and I feel like I am wearing a piece of art. Truly lovely.

I give the ruana/shawl that is reversible, made of alpaca with a wheat pattern on it a 5 star rating.  It is warm, comfortable, and receives many compliments when I wear it.  I love wearing it because it is also light weight.  It is perfect for someone from a wheat state like Kansas.

I live and work in Santa Fe and last year at a summer fair I purchased a beautiful Alpaca sweater from Mario and some knee high Alpaca socks. I absolutely love them both. The Alpaca wool is super soft and being pure wool it is incredibly warm. I would recommend Alpaca to any one that lives in a place that has a cold winter.

The price was also a great value!
